Celebrating a Legacy With Loyal Fans & Cast
In tune with the lush action and drama that makes Cinemax’s Warrior, we translated the Warrior show experience into two activation beats to capture a pandemic crowd eager for something new. By knowing the value of cultural legacy, we went beyond dynamic workshops and assessment to help HBO develop an engagement that increases overall growth.
Game Night brought the Warrior spirit of competition to Twitch for cast mates, allowing them to battle through a series of games with unique fan engagement. The highly curated gifting experience was designed to celebrate “the warrior you are and strive to be” with items that echo the spirit and philosophies of Bruce Lee.
Going Deep to Go Wide
With the show’s release in December 2020, America had changed drastically since the development of House of Ho and its marketing campaign. We worked consistently with the client to provide a cultural framework that served to reflect the current landscape and help the show adapt its positioning and strategy.
We conducted cultural assessment reports on the AAPI landscape, built insight reviews to better depict authenticity, built organic support from key community thought-leaders, and produced a Q&A segment that was a key piece of insight that altered many of the community’s preconceptions of what this show is.
