The Solution

With limited space, they needed to create a memorable experience to bring in communities that aren’t naturally embedded into the world of tabletop gaming. Having previously worked on The Blue Blade, GreatCo tapped Delusion to build a micro experience that served as a spin-off chapter of the greater Blue Blade Saga. This experience contained all of the puzzle solving, action, and intrigue of The Blue Blade, but in 1/10th the space. Designed for intimate groups, this experience allowed early arriving guests to eat before, and gave them a place to talk about it afterwards over a beer in an atmosphere dedicated to tabletop gaming. Guests who attended Alt Delete not only left a thrilling micro experience, but many also discovered a new Los Angeles hidden gem and place to play Pandemic with friends.
